If you have a holiday story, anecdote or poem you'd like to share, consider entering the Black Diamond Writers' Network holiday writing contest.

The free contest is open to members and the general public.Contest guidelines follow:• 1. Entries must be 250 words or less (excluding title).• 2. Submissions limited to one entry per person.• 3. Pieces must be a fiction, non-fiction or poetry submission about the winter holidays (Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, etc.).• 4. Submissions must include separate pages for the author's name and contact information and the entry.• 5. Mail submissions to BDWN, 116 Second Street, Coaldale, PA 18218.• 6. Entries must be postmarked by November 30, 2009.• 7. Winner will be contacted via phone or email after December 19, 2009.• 8. Winning entries will be published in the January edition of Carbon Copy, the BDWN newsletter.• 9. Contest is open to all members and the general public.
