The Hazleton Animal Shelter and North Shore Animal League from New York will host an animal adoption event at the Hazleton Wal-Mart Supercenter from 1 to 6 p.m., Nov. 5 and 6.

Representatives from the shelter and animal league will be at the event providing potential animal adopters with information, while raising awareness that shelter animals need homes.
