A Carbon County business has been cited by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board's Wilkes-Barre enforcement office.

Palmerton Hotel Inc., 302-304 Delaware Ave., was cited for an incident on June 26.The board cited the business for sold, furnished and/or gave or permitted such sale, furnishing or giving of alcoholic beverages to minors.The charge will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more serious offenses.The judge also can impose a license suspension or revocation of the license based on the severity of the charge brought.
