West Penn Elementary releases honor roll

Steven Behr, Principal of the Tamaqua Area School District´s elementary schools, has released the names of students earning honor roll status for the first marking period of the 2009-2010 school year. To be eligible for High Honors, students must earn straight As. To earn honors, students in grades four and five must earn four As and two Bs, while third grade students must earn three As and one B.

West Penn Elementary students earning honor roll status include: fifth grade HIGH HONORS - Hunter Banavage, Genevieve Beck, Hannah Betz, Abigail Brickler, Joshua Derrick, Joshua Gordon, George Hegedus, Andrea Iacoviello, Raymond Kinder, Isabella Ligenza, Mackenzie McVicker, Sarah Miller, Stephen Oravec, Deidre Ressler, Kyle Ruch, Jasper Stocker, Alexander Verta and Jacob Weiksner; HONORS - Melissa Boerner, Laura Dehart, Spencer Depue, William Derr, Emma Dillman, Ty Kistler, Emma Rago and Matthew Weaver.

Fourth grade honor roll students are: HIGH HONORS - Brad Clemson, Molly Clemson, Cory Cunningham, Justin Frable, Emma Hoch, Brandon Kemmery, Orion Kilpatrick, Erica Miller, Jacob Palmer, Hannah Reed, Zowie Schickram, Kaitlyn Shlanta, Hannah Stott, Lauren Wandzilak and Aaron Wargula; HONORS - Chloe Bates, Autumn Eberts, Logan Miller, Mitchell Miller, Steven Mozloom, Caleb Savitz, Gavin Tabler and Brooke Zellner.

Third grade honor roll students are: HIGH HONORS - Emily Amershek, Ilan Basrawi, Angeline Castagna, Matthew Franklin, Matthew Gazdick, Morgan Lusch, Meghan McArdle, Dylan Miller, Brady Moyer, Jacob Ruby and Mariah Williams; HONORS - Olivia Behr, Tyler Disbrow, Brandon Eberts, Amelia Redner, Dustin Ulrich and Dimitri Verta.
