Schuylkill Co. treasurer reports monthly revenue, disbursements

Schuylkill County Treasurer Jacqueline McGovern released a report for the month of October showing $38,825,604.90 cash on hand and that $11,766,897.28 had been invested in interest earning accounts.

The balance at the beginning of the month was $39,775,652.91. Deposits totaled $16,320,950.32 and disbursements totaled $17,270,998.33.The general fund began the month with a balance of $14,696,334.46. Deposits were $1,179,036.49 and disbursements, $3,527,019.43, leaving an ending balance of $12,348,351.52.All other accounts are still solvent. County agencies had a balance of $5,630,676.37 at the end of October. Rest Haven Home and Hospital had a balance of $1,125,015.96, and 9-1-1 Emergency Management Department, $1,097,399.The county received $248,216.15 in real estate taxes in October - $12,444,09 for the funded debt and $8,451 in per capita taxes.Revenues from sale of dog, fish, hunting, bingo and small change licenses totaled $1,3425 and revenues from the eight district magisterial offices was $61,572.16; collections from land phones for the 9-1-1 Tariff Revenue, $81,791,53 and hotel tax, $10,604.25.
