Calyn Gerber, daughter of Rob and Lisa Gerber of Tamaqua, became the bride of Eric Brewer, son of Ron and Velda Brewer of El Paso, Texas, on June 6, 2009 at Blue Mountain Ski Resort in Palmerton.

The Rev. Stephen Holubec officiated the double ring ceremony.Given in marriage by her parents, the bride chose her sisters Jenna and Taylor Gerber as her maids of honor.Bridesmaids were Nicole Inama and Avery Abbott.Best man duties were performed by the bridegroom's brother, Evan Brewer.Ushers were Joseph Portz, the bride's cousin; and Brian Hodge and David Goodwin.Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Blue Mountain Ski Resort. The couple then honeymooned in San Diego, Calif.The new Mrs. Brewer is a graduate of Lehigh Carbon Community College, where she earned an associate degree in chemical technology. She is also a graduate of Pensacola Christian College, where she majored in chemistry.Mr. Brewer is a graduate of Pensacola Christian College, where he majored in criminal justice.The newlyweds are currently in the process of moving to Denison, Texas to pursue new careers.
