State police at Lehighton are seeking the public's help in the search for the person to robbed a Carbon County bank in September.

The Jim Thorpe National Bank branch office along SR903 in Penn Forest Township was robbed at gunpoint on Sept. 17 about 1 p.m.

The suspect entered the bank and confronted two female tellers with a black handgun and demanded cash. After receiving cash from both tellers the robber fled the scene riding a bicycle south on 903.

The suspect was described as a thin white male, wearing a black mask and black clothing, riding a small mountain type bicycle.

Troopers are again asking anyone who may have observed the suspect in the area of the bank to contact them at 610-377-4270.
