Colton Davidson scored a forfeit victory in the final bout of the match to lift Lehighton to a 39-34 Mountain Valley Conference win over visiting East Stroudsburg South.

The Indians' Tyler Crum finished with 14 points, while DJ Rossino and James Farano followed with 12 and 10 respectively.

In the JV game, Wilson posted a 59-52 win.

Jim Thorpe rallied from a first quarter deficit to defeat Shenandoah Valley, 49-28, in a non-league game.

Chelsea Smelas led the Olympians, who trailed 9-4 after one period of play, with 17 points. Celeste Robinson and Kristin Lawrence added 15 and 12 points repsectively.

Jim Thorpe improved to 13-1 overall. Shenandoah fell to 6-8.

SWIMMING

Moravian Academy-Tamaqua

Tamaqua's Joann Butkus picked up three first-place finishes en route to helping the Lady Raiders swim past Moravian, 105-65. The Tamaqua boys dropped a 96-64 decision to Moravian.

Butkus won the 50 freestyle and the 100 butterfly. She was also a member of the winning 400 freestyle relay team.

Niko Agosti and Chris Weber paced the Colts with 11 points apiece.
