Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department arrested Christopher Hickler and Cassandra Smith of Stillwater Lakes with numerous charges, including aggravated indecent assault, statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor, IDSI, endangering the welfare of children, indecent assault, corruption of minors, PWID-cocaine, possession of controlled substance, furnishing liquor to a minor and conspiracy.

The charges stem from an investigation into a report from a 13-year-old female child. The young girl reported that she had spent about a month during the summer of 2011 living with Smith and her fiance, Hickler.During that time frame, Smith and Hickler provided the 13-year-old with alcohol, marijuana and cigarettes. They also let her try cocaine and on at least one occasion they had sexual intercourse with her. The incidents occurred in Stillwater Lakes.Both Hickler and Smith were arraigned by Magistrate Fluegel. Bail was set at $50,000 each.A hearing was scheduled at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8.
