State police at Frackville are investigating the theft of a pickup truck that was later recovered.

Troopers said the 1993 Ford F-150 extended cab truck of James John Ney, 78, of Silver Creek Rd., New Philadelphia, Blythe Township, was taken from the above lcoation on Dec. 3. It was later recovered on Dec. 8, troopers said.In an unrelated incident, also occuring in New Philadelphia, Renee Gibas, 40, of 2 Wiggans St., reported someone punctured the two left tires on her vehicle overnight of Dec. 4-5.Anyone with information concerning these incidents is asked to call troopers at (570) 874-5300.
