The 41st annual Lehighton Area Halloween Parade will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22.

The rain date is Sunday, Oct. 23.Julie Harris, parade committee chairman, said entry forms are available at the following locations:Larry Markley Insurance, Zimmerman's Dairy, Lehighton Borough Office, Jim Thorpe National Bank - Lehighton branch, Carbon County Music & More, Dance with Kim, and Normal Square Mini Mart.The deadline for entries is Oct. 15.Harris said the parade route will be the same as the past.The parade forms on Coal Street between Eighth and 10th streets, continues on Coal to Third Street, travels north on Third to Mahoning Street, and west on Mahoning Street to Eighth. It disbands at the Community Grove.
