Banks Township

In Banks Township one supervisor position was up for grabs. The only candidate on the ballot for the position was Theresa M. Shott, who received 225 votes. There were 44 write-ins.For the auditor position, Joseph R. Bodnar Jr. (D) defeated Alice Schwendeman (R) 234 votes to 80 votes.East Penn TownshipIn East Penn Township, two supervisor positions were available. John M. Strockoz (R) and Cory Smith (D) received the top votes with 377 and 300. Other candidates were Joseph C. Ehritz (D), 243 votes; Cole Peffer (R), 170 votes; and eight write-ins.Nine write-ins were cast for the East Penn auditor position.Franklin TownshipIn Franklin Township, Rod. E. Green secured the one supervisor position with 641 votes. There were also seven write-ins.For the auditor positions, H. Boehringer Jr. (R), defeated Betty J. Wolfe (D) 409 votes to 389 for the six-year position; while seven write-in votes were cast for the four-year position.In the constable position, five write-in votes were received.Kidder TownshipIn Kidder Township, Frank Pieri and Thomas L. Bradley Jr. (R) won the to supervisor positions with 253 votes and 229 votes. Raymond Gluck (D) received 114 votes and four write-in votes were cast.For the auditor positions, four write-in votes were cast in both the six-year and four-year positions.Lausanne TownshipIn Lausanne, Agnes Klynowsky (D) ran unopposed for the sole supervisor position. She received 31 votes.For the auditor positions, Linda Korpalski (D) won the four-year term with 27 votes; while no votes were cast for the two-year term.Lehigh TownshipIn Lehigh Township, J. Redash-Capossela (R) won the sole supervisor position with 85 votes. There were also 68 write-in votes cast.For the auditor positions, Ernest M. Stauffer (R) ran unopposed for six-year term. He received 129 votes. One write-in vote was cast. For the four-year term, four write-in votes were cast.Lower Towamensing TownshipIn Lower Towamensing Township, Brent M. Green (D) defeated Jay Mullikin (R) for the supervisor position 252 to 214.For the auditor position, there were eight write-in votes cast.Mahoning TownshipIn Mahoning Township, Bruce R. Steigerwalt ran unopposed for the supervisor position. He received 693 votes, while seven write-ins were cast.For the auditor positions, Wallace Putkowski (R) ran unopposed for the six-year term, receiving 593 votes. Two write-ins were cast. Seven write-in votes were cast for the four-year position and three votes were cast for the two-year position.Packer TownshipIn Packer Township Lynn Nyer (R) ran unopposed for the tax collector position. She received 243 votes.Lawrence J. Suravicz (R) ran unopposed for the supervisor position, receiving 225 votes; while three write-ins were also cast.For the auditor positions, one write-in vote was cast for the six-year term; no votes were cast for the four-year term; and one write-in was cast for the two-year term.Penn Forest TownshipIn Penn Forest, Christine A. Fazio (D) defeated her opponents for the supervisor position. She received 434 votes. Other vote getters were: S.L. Baldassano (R), 413; Raymond R. Royer (I), 224; Matthew C. Schutter (L), 30; and write-ins, 136.For the auditor positions, Donna M. Brigilo (D) ran unopposed for both the six-year term and two-year term. She received 687 votes in the six-year term race; and 713 votes in the two-year term. Five write-in votes were cast for the six-year term race; and 11 write-in votes were cast in the two-year term race.TowamensingTownshipIn Towamensing Township, Guy Seifert (R) defeated Rickie Green (D) 401 to 290, for the sole supervisor position. There were also 16 write-in votes cast.For the auditor positions, nine write-in votes were cast for the six-year term, and eight write-in votes were cast for the four-year term.
