Graduation ceremonies were held at Ss. Peter and Paul School, Lehighton on June 9, beginning with liturgy led by the Rev. Michael Ahrensfield.

Following the ceremonies, the school community joined together to celebrate with dining and dancing in the school hall. Ss. Peter and Paul School and seventh grade students and parents provided refreshments and decorations. Vincent Vella, DJ, provided entertainment. Leanne Clee is the Ss. Peter and Paul School eighth grade teacher.

Tamra Haupt was presented the Physical Education and Sportsmanship Award, friend of Ss. Peter and Paul School; President's Award for Educational Excellence, U.S. Department of Education; Excellence in Science Award, Ss. Peter and Paul School PTO; Art Award, Ss. Peter and Paul School; President's Award for Educational Improvement, U.S. Department of Education.

Recognized was Katelyn Hosler, Good Citizenship Award, Sen. David Argall; Excellence in Math Award, Ss. Peter and Paul School; Excellence in Social Studies Award, Mrs. Glenn R. Whiteman, in memory of her husband; Physical Education and Sportsmanship Award, friend of Ss. Ss. Peter and Paul School is a preschool through Grade eight school located at 307 Coal St., Lehighton. Enrollment is currently open for students of all denominations in grades K-8. Preschool classes are full. A wait listing is available.
