Christopher “Steph” Yurchak, son of attorneys Robert and Cindy Yurchak of Weatherly, graduated from Widener Commonwealth Law School on May 17, in a ceremony at The Forum Auditorium, State Capital Complex, Harrisburg, with a Juris Doctor degree.
While a law student, he was named to the dean’s list, was approved and certified by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania as a legal intern, was the summer law clerk for The Honorable Joseph J. Matika, judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Carbon County in 2024, and was the summer law clerk for his parents, performing legal research, brief writing and observing numerous court proceedings, including trials, in 2025.
Steph is a 2022 graduate of Penn State University Main Campus, and a 2018 graduate of Weatherly Area School District.
He is currently taking bar review courses in preparation of sitting for the Pennsylvania Bar Exam in July.
Steph shares an apartment in Hershey with his significant other, Ally Racho, and at home with his parents are his sister, Dr. Megan Ray, DVM, brother Andrew Ray, EMT/Firefighter, and nephew Mason Ray.
