• Tonight, Hollywood Nights will appear with Separate Ways the Band at 8 p.m. Hollywood Nights pays tribute to Bob Seger. Separate Ways the Band features music from Journey.• On Saturday, Robin Trower will be making a return visit to Penn's Peak in a concert starting at 8 p.m. Trower is engaged in a national tour supporting his latest CD, "The Playful Heart."Hollywood Nights is a tribute to Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet band. The New Jersey based band has set out to recreate the music of Bob Seger down to the smallest detail.Determined to leave no stone uncovered, Hollywood Nights even uses a Baby grand piano on stage.Trower, a Brit, returned to the U.S. in 2011 for an extensive tour in support of "The Playful Heart." The tour started in Fort Lauderdale on January 27 and continues through the end of June.In concert, Trower will be performing his signature songs, with a variety of new material and some surprises included in the set.Initial response to "The Playful Heart" (V-12 Records) is overwhelmingly positive from both fans and critics. The album brought his longtime touring mates, Davey Pattison, Glenn Letsch and Pete Thompson into the studio for the sessions. The years of gigging together has resulted in a very tight band and their mutual inspiration shows through the entire CD.Early focus tracks include "Find Me", "The Turning", "Don't Look Back" and the title track. This release has the musical intensity of "Twice Removed From Yesterday" and "Bridge Of Sighs" combined with Trower's new vision of his guitar voice.
