Salem St. Paul

Salem St. Paul's Lutheran Church is celebrating Thanksgiving in July on Sunday, July 17. They will sing Thanksgiving songs, collect boxes and cans of food for PVEN (West End food pantry) and have a Thanksgiving "feast," the Eucharist or Holy Communion.

Volunteers are needed to help beautify Salem St. Paul's church gardens by weeding. They will start at the library garden and work toward the Sunday school wing. Come when your schedule permits.

Bring a bucket, garden gloves and hand tools. Place weeds in the parking lot dumpster. Gardening is great exercise for the mind and body.

Any questions call Kim Hughart (570) 236-4191 or email hughartk@ptd.net [1].
