A truck tractor was destroyed by fire early Sunday morning when parked on the lot of East Penn Trucking along SR895 in East Penn Township. The fire was first reported by a passerby who spotted flames shooting from the rig. When firefighters from East Penn and Bowmanstown arrived on scene they found heavy flames shooting from the truck which was parked adjacent to two large trailers filled with tires. Firemen were on scene about an hour. The rig was parked along the south berm.
