Greaseband tonight; Live Wire tomorrow

Tonight, at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe, some of the greatest songs of the past decades will be sung when the Fabulous Greaseband makes an appearance.

The concert is at 8 p.m. and tickets will be available at the door for $22 each.Tomorrow night, a special New Year's Eve event is slated with Live Wire, considered "the world's greatest AC/DC tribute," will be on the large stage.It's a concert for all ages and the concert starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $22 in advance and $27 the night of the show.The dance floor will be open for the Fabulous Greaseband's performance. One never knows what selections the versatile band will do, but assuredly some will be great dance hits.Performing well over 230 shows per year, The Fabulous Greaseband never ceases to entertain their audience to the fullest extent. They perform throughout the east coast, but are mainly centered between DC and NYC.They are a seven member party band that plays the best rock 'n' roll hits of the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's.Live Wire offers the most complete and authentic reproduction of AC/DC's sound and stage performance in the world.
