Christine Homcha and Kyle Jones exchange vows

Christine Marie Homcha, daughter of Steve and Marge Homcha of Nesquehoning, and Kyle Jones, son of Jack and Eileen Jones of Barnesville, were united in marriage during a Mass and wedding ceremony held on May 28, 2011 at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Nesquehoning. The Rev. Anthony Drouncheck officiated at the double ring ceremony.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Brittany Homcha of Nesquehoning as her maid of honor.Zavry Jones of Deer Lake, niece of the bridegroom, served as bridesmaid, and Hannah Kisela of St. Clair, cousin of the bridegroom, was the flower girl.The bridegroom chose his brother, Robert Jones of Mahanoy City as his best man.Brent Homcha of Nesquehoning, brother of the bride, served as usher, and Jacob Fauzio of Nesquehoning, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer.Following the ceremony, the couple greeted family and friends at a reception held at Eagle Rock Resort in Hazelton.The couple honeymooned in the Cycladic Greek islands.The bride is a 2000 graduate of Marian Catholic High School, and a 2005 graduate of Misericordia University with a master's degree in physical therapy. In 2011 she graduated from Penn State College of Medicine with a doctor of medicine degree.She is currently a resident in plastic surgery at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.She is the granddaughter of Helen and Frank Homcha of Nesquehoning, and Florence and Joseph Filip of Summit Hill.The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Mahanoy Area High School, and a 2007 graduate of Penn State Wilkes-Barre, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice.He is employed by Electron Energy Corporation in Lancaster.The new Mrs. Jones was the guest of honor at a bridal shower held at Macaluso's at the Lantern Inn in Nesquehoning, which was hosted by her mother, mother-in-law, and bridesmaids.The couple is residing in Hershey.
