The Black Diamond Writers Network will hold a Writer's Conference from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday April 16, at the Best Western-Genetti Inn, 1341 N. Church St., Hazelton.

New York Times best selling author Maria V. Snyder and five other professional writers and authors will share their expertise with those interested in the craft of writing at the second annual Write it Right conference.

The conference includes workshops, lunch, and an author book fair. Walk-ins are welcome.

The Black Diamond Writers' Network conducts regular monthly meetings at the Tamaqua Public Library, 30 S. Railroad St., from 10 a.m. to noon on the third Saturday of each month.
