Pleasant Vy. girl runners top Stroudsburg

The Pleasant Valley girls and the Stroudsburg boys came away with Mountain Valley Conference victories.

CROSS COUNTRYStroudsburg-Pleasant ValleySeven Lady Bears finished in the "top 10" to lead Pleasant Valley to the 22-37 victory. Sam Klingel placed second (20:38) for the Bears, finishing 23 seconds behind Stroudsburg's Kiana Tucker (20:15).In the boys race, Stroudsburg posted a 23-35 victory behind Mark Pfaeffle's winning time of 17:12. Rachel Heister added 17 assists.Weatherly's JV also won, 25-16, 25-16.
