Raiders, Panthers, Bears are all double winners

Tamaqua came up with wins in boys soccer and girls volleyball, Panther Valley won golf and girls volleyball matches and Pleasant Valley was victorious in girls tennis and cross country on Tuesday afternoon.

BOYS SOCCERSaucon Valley-NorthwesternIsaiah Danner scored off of a rebound in double overtime and helped his Tigers to a 2-1 victory over Colonial League foe Saucon Valley.James Hoover had the other goal for Northwestern. He also took the initial shot that Danner scored off of in overtime.Tigers' keeper Talon Williams made 11 stops in net to preserve the win.Salisbury-Northern LehighSalisbury ran away with a 5-1 Colonial League victory over Northern Lehigh.Sean Baker had two goals and two assists for the Falcons while teammate Sean Adams added a goal and two assists. The winners also received a goal and assist from Brian Garcia.Ryan Perkowski scored the Bulldogs' lone goal in the second half. Jimmy Bilger was credited with the assist. Stacey Wallace chipped in with seven service points, nine kills and four blocks.Sarah Paluck (nine service points, 12 kills), Sarah Lesisko (16 service points, four kills, four aces) and Kelsey Burkett (four service points, five kills, two aces) for the Blue Raiders.In the JV game, Blue Mountain came out on top with a 25-17, 25-7 victory.
