The Panther Valley Library will host Trick or Treat night from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31. Volunteers will provide goodies. The library has also accepted new board members Marlene Basiago and Larry Marek, both of Summit Hill, and Bob Silver and Christopher Ondrus, both of Lansford.
The board is seeking a representative from Nesquehoning to round out the board, as it serves all three boroughs.The library, housed in the former United Methodist Church at 117 E. Bertsch St, is open from 3:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Mondays; 9:00 a.m. - noon and 3:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Tuesdays; 3:30 p.m.- 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays and from 5-8 p.m. Fridays.
