Theft reported, citations issued

Nesquehoning police reported on a theft incident and various citations issued by officers.

Chief Sean Smith is investigating the theft of a snowblower from the property of Edward Whitehead, 118 E. Center St. On March 6 Whitehead reported his Sears Craftsman snowblower was taken. The snowblower is blue and silver in color and valued at $600.Citations were issued by these officers.Office Timothy Wuttke issued citations as follows along SR209. Two for expired inspection stickers and two speeding arrests, one for 44 miles-per-hour in a 25 zone; and one for 59 in a 40 zone. The citations were issued on March 8 and 9.Officer Carl Breiner issued citations on March 6 for stop sign violation, speeding, 68 in a 50 zone and a warning for a stop sign violation, all along SR54.Smith issued a citation for speeding on SR209 at SR93 on March 5, 55 in a 40 zone.Officer Ron Peck issued a citation for speeding on March 7 along SR209 at Oak St., 51 in a 25 zone.
