Two men who entered guilty pleas recently in the Schuylkill County Courts to selling illegal drugs were sentenced to do their time in state prisons.

Corey P. Whitecavage, 22, pleaded guilty to two counts of delivery of a controlled substance in Frackville Borough and one count each to possession of drug paraphernalia, receiving property stolen in Ashland and driving under the influence of alcohol was sentenced by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin to serve one to two years in a state correctional institution and when released to serve an additional 12 months on probation, pay $1,632 in fines, pay $200 to SAE (Substance Abuse Education) fund, $150 to CJEA (Criminal Justice Enhancement Account) $50 to Catastrophe fund and a $50 monthly fee for each month on probation.Brian Anthony Cyr, 21, Shernandoah, pleaded guity to delivery of drugs in Shenandoah Borough and was sentenced by Judge Charles M. Miller to serve 12 months to 24 months in a state correctional institution, pay a fine of $100, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA and make restituiton of $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab.Clement Michael Schropp, 60, Mahanoy City, pleaded guilty to fleeing Mahanoy City Police, resisting arrest, being a habitual offender of the state motor vehicle code and driving while his license was suspended was sentenced by Judge Charles M. Millerto serve 62 days to 120 days followed by 30 months probation, pay a fine of $1,100 in fines, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA and a $50 monthly supervision fee for each month on probation.
