Tamaqua burglaries continue

The rash of burglaries in Tamaqua continues, as three businesses were reportedly broken into overnight. As of press time, Tamaqua Police were gathering evidence from the RF Family Hair Care Salon, 120 W. Broad St.; the M and I Deli on North Railroad Street; and the I Said Read Me Book Store, 14 W. Broad St. The merchants were doing inventory to see what, if anything, was taken. All three businesses were forcibly entered.

Last week, burglaries were committed at Tommy's Restaurant, the Station Fitness Center and the Restaurant at the Station.Anyone who may have noticed something unusual late last night or early this morning is asked to contact police at (570) 668-5000.
