Jim Thorpe Police Department will be holding its third annual Policemen's Ball on Saturday, Jan. 29 at Jim Thorpe Memorial Hall, from 6 to 11 p.m. Dress is formal attire. The evening will include dinner, drinks and dancing with music provided by DJ "Dave G" from 4D Karaoke/DJ Services and Entertainment.

Proceeds from this year's ball will benefit Carbon County Special Olympics. Last year, $4,000 was donated to the Fallen Officer's Fund for FOP Lodge 13.The police department is currently seeking donations to help defray the cost of the event.
