Jenyne Scarpati, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome P. Scarpati of Jim Thorpe, became the bride of Robert Paul Podlinski Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Podlinski Sr., of Cherry Hill, N.J. on Sept. 26, 2009 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jim Thorpe.

Monsignor John Chizmar and the Rev. James Ward concelebrated the double ring ceremony.Kristine Betz was the organist, while Darryl Seiwell played the trumpet and Debra Reilly played the violin. Jeanette Richards was the soloist.Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Bridget Kalogerakis and Kristin Danchak as her maids of honor.Bridesmaids were Veronica Scarpati, Erin Haldeman, Crystal Vitti, Amanda Chicarelli, Suzanne Kelly, Kate Keglovits, Karen Muller, Kara Podlinski and Katherine Podlinski. Natalia Richards was a junior bridesmaid, while Kaillyn Seizer was the flower girl.Matt Podlinski was the best man. Ushers were Jerome Scarpati, Rich Rowe, Dave Hird, Jeff Hern, Tim Basford, Andrian Bondad, Andrew Fallon, Rob Bekesy, Mike McGonigal and Mike McGregor. Dean Richards was a junior groomsman. Christopher Kopertowski was the ring bearer.The couple welcomed family and friends at a reception held at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe, followed by a wedding trip to St. Lucia.A bridal shower was hosted by the mother of the bride and bridesmaids at the Mauch Chunk Museum and Cultural Center, Jim Thorpe. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the bridegroom's parents, was held at Macaluso's, Nesquehoning.The new Mrs. Podlinski is a 2003 graduate of Marian Catholic High School. She is a 2007 graduate of the University of Scranton and a 2009 graduate of Marywood University.She is employed by St. Luke's Hospital as a physician's assistant in orthopedic surgery.Mr. Podlinski is a 2003 graduate of Cherry Hill West, and a 2007 graduate of the University of Scranton, and a 2009 graduate of St. Joseph's University, where he earned a master's degree in biology.He is currently pursuing a master's in education through the master's program at East Stroudsburg University.The couple currently resides in Macungie.
