Therapeutic Massage opens

Mary G. Vignone, an IMA certified massage therapist, of Nesqueshoning, who has been providing therapeutic massage to residents of Tamaqua and surrounding communities for over 13 years, has a new permanent place of business in Tamaqua at 900 East Broad St., located on a section of building where MAFF Motors used to be, and now currently owned by 900 East Broad St LLC.

Vignone stated, "In the past, it was challenging to help people when my hours revolved around other business hours, as I mainly provided my massages out of local businesses like the Tamaqua Train Station, local Bed and Breakfasts, as well as during community events. Now I have a permanent place of my own to take care of my clients better."Larry Lech, manager of 900 East Broad St LLC, stated, "Mary is very professional as she takes her time and listens to what my concerns are during her massages by giving extra attention to pain areas." Mary also pointed out that although her therapeutic massages are by appointment only, this actually provides more availability to her clients as she is available most of the day to include evening hours. She specializes in low back pain, deep tissue massage, reflexology, and a number of other massage techniques to include massage oils, hot stones, trigger points, peppermint foot scrub, and facials.Vignone, who has been in the health care field since she was 18, started her business after a physical therapist helped her by providing therapeutic massages to her after an injury she had when she was a child. Some things Vignone stated during her grand opening last week were that she loved taking care of people and making people relax, as well as providing the opportunity to make people feel stress free and enjoy life better. She also pointed out that her prices are more affordable than other therapists in larger cities. To make an appointment, call Mary anytime during the day or evening at (570) 778-0750.
