Tamaqua Volunteers clean North Railroad Street

Community volunteers spent a number of hours last Saturday cleaning Depot Square Park and North Railroad Street in Tamaqua. Tamaqua Beautification Association President Kevin Steigerwalt organized the biannual cleanup event. The new "Tamaqua Volunteers" community initiative group provided some volunteers for the cleanup. About 20 bags of garbage, 5 tires, and other larger items were picked during the cleanup.
