The Panther Valley School Board set salaries for the winter coaches at last night's board meeting as follows: boys basketball, head coach Patrick Crampsie, $3,550, assistant coach Keith Gogal, $2,350, assistant coach Mark Lazar, $1,450, and assistant coach Shawn Midas, $1,300; girls basketball, head coach Josh Wank, $2,700, assistant coach Roman Barron, $1,800; wrestling, head coach Tim Robb, $4,750, assistant coach Michael O'Donnell, $1,700; cheerleading (including the fall season) head coach, Hallie Seiwell, $1,600, assistant coach Heidi Seiwell, $725, assistant coach Jamie Fedor, $525, and swimming head coach, Geri Vavra, $2,850.
Volunteer coaches were also approved as follows: boys basketball, Terry Bonner, Charley DePuy, and Ken Miller; girls basketball, Adrienne Bonner and William Lynn; wrestling, Kevin O'Brien, and cheerleading, Jillian Miller.
The Board also set the prices for the winter sports tickets. A fall season family of four pass is $60, with the fee for an additional person of $15. Student passes are $20 and an individual pass is $30. Tickets for girls and boys basketball, swim meets, and wrestling matches are $4.00 for adults and $2.00 for students. Junior high and freshman games are $2.00 for adults and $1.00 for students. It was noted that senior citizen passes will no longer be sold; however, previously purchased ones will be honored. Angst asked that the motion on the senior citizen passes be tabled. “I think they should be brou
