The engagement of Sarah Theobald to Eric Jones has been announced by her mother.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Elizabeth and Robert Weikel, Lansford, and William Theobald, York.She is a 2004 graduate of the Carbon County Area Vocational and Technical School, and a 2005 graduate of the Bradley Academy for the Visual Arts, where she earned an associate degree in interior design. She is employed by Stonewood Interiors in Emmaus.The prospective bridegroom is the son of Richard and Bonnie Jones, Lehighton. He is a 1997 graduate of the Carbon County Area Vocational and Technical School. He is employed by ABF Freight in Allentown.
