Pocono Mountain Regional police reported that criminal charges have been filed against Monroe County residents following an investigation into a stabbing incident that occurred in July.

Police said Charisma Spence, 18, along with her mother, Tasieka Woods, 36, a 17-year-old male juvenile, and Ivan Bannister, 24, who resides with Woods, all of Tobyhanna, have been charged.Police said on July 31 officers were dispatched to 2803 Oak View Lane for a loud party. While en route officers received a report of a stabbing and gunshots.Upon arrival police observed several persons leaving and learned others had already left the area. Police subsequently learned that the vcitim, Tiasia White, 19, of Wilkes-Barre, was taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, by private car for a stab wound to the chest.Spence and the juvenile were identified as the assailants. Spence was charged with criminal conspiracy to commit aggravated and simple assault, and simple assault. The juvenile was charged with aggravated and simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, possessing an instrument of crime and criminal conspiracy to commit aggravated assault.Police said following the arrests a search warrant was executed at the Spence residence at 253 Green Briar Circle, A Pocono Country Place. During the search police seized suspected marijuana, cocaine, heroin and drug paraphernalia.Woods and Bannister were arrested for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal conspiracy to commit-possession with intent, possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.On Monday police arrested Spence. She was arraigned before District Judge Daniel Whitesell and committed to the county prison in Snydersville in lieu of $5,000 straight bail. The juvenile was also arraigned before Whitesell and remanded to the county prison in lieu of $20,000 straight bail.Woods and Bannister were also taken into cusody on Monday and committed to the county prison pending arraignment before Whitesell.
