Duck hunting reopens Monday and remains open through Friday, Jan. 15, in the South Zone. Canada goose hunting opens Monday and remains open through Saturday, Nov. 28, and then reopens Friday, Dec. 11, through Tuesday, Jan. 26, in the Atlantic Population Zone.

There is a daily limit of six ducks and a possession limit of 12 after opening day, and a daily limit may not include more than four mallards, including two hen mallards; one black duck; one pintail; one mottled duck; one fulvous tree duck; three wood ducks; two redheads; one canvasback; four scoters; and two scaup.A possession limit may not include more than eight mallards, including four hens; two black ducks; two pintails; two mottled ducks; two fulvous tree ducks; six wood ducks; four redheads; two canvasback; eight scoters; and four scaup.There is a daily limit of three Canada geese.Snow goose hunting is open through Friday, Feb. 19, with a daily limit of 15 and no possession limit. The Conservation Season for snow geese will be Saturday, Feb. 20, through Saturday, April 13, with the same limits as the regular season.**********Bowhunters who take a black bear taken during the special WMU-specific bow season Wednesday and Thursday must be checked by the PGC within 24 hours of the time it was killed.
