A Tamaqua man was injured in a one car crash Saturday night along SR443 in Walker Township, Schuylkill County. The crash occurred shortly after 8 p.m. about a mile west of SR309. State police at Frackville report Dimetri Partin, 20, was operating a 1999 Ford sedan eastbound rounding a slight left curve. The car began to spin clockwise and went onto the south berm. It traveled about 45 feet before striking guard rails with the driiver's side. The car went through the guard rails and then down a steep embankment on its side for about 30-feet before impacting with a tree on the passenger side. Partin was trapped inside the car and freed by West Penn Fire Company volunteers. He was treated at the scene by members of the Penn Mahoning ambulance and Lehighton paramedics. He was flown by PennStar helicopter to St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill, where he is listed in critical condition.
