Mr. and Mrs. Robert Selert, Weatherly, announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel, to Jeremy Witner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Brian Witner, Weatherly.

Jeremy proposed to Rachel on a road trip to the New England states, atop Mount Washington, N.H.The bride-to-be is currently working toward her masters of physical therapy, and will graduate in May from Misericordia University. Upon graduation she will take a job with St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital, Coaldale.Both are 2004 graduates of Weatherly Area High School.The prospective bridegroom is an engineer at Kovatch Mobile Equipment, Nesquehoning.They plan to wed in St. Matthew's Union Church, Weatherly on Oct. 9, 2010.
