Northern Lehigh couldn't have had a worse start.

Fortunately for the Bulldogs, though, their finish is what counts.After spotting visiting Catasauqua the first 11 points of their Colonial League matchup Tuesday night, Nolehi rebounded and eventually came back to gain a 63-55 victory."We came out lackadaisical," said Bulldog head coach Rich Oertner, whose team managed just three points on 1-of-11 shooting in the opening quarter. "You play a team like Catty and they come out hard and play hard. They tried the physicality game because they're a little stronger than us and they hit us pretty hard in the first half."We absorbed it though. We didn't make any shots in the first quarter, but once we got the ball going up and down the floor a little bit then we got some transition baskets which helped us quite a bit."Having a scorer like Jordan Waylen on the floor also helps quite a bit.Waylen hit for seven of his game-high 16 points in the second frame as the Bulldogs (4-2; 3-1) whittled a double-digit deficit to four points (23-19) by halftime."We don't come back a whole lot with this team because we're not real quick, but they weren't either so it was the type of game that we had the opportunity to come back," said Oertner, who trailed 19-7 early in the second quarter."We mixed it up offensively and it's always nice when more guys score."While Waylen kept his team in the game with a solid first half, Bobby Hahn and Joey Seremula stepped up over the final two periods to help complete the team's rally.Hahn, held to two first-half points, went to the basket often in the second half and finished the contest with 15 points. His consecutive drives late in the third quarter gave Nolehi its first lead at 37-35 while his floater in the lane with five minutes to play snapped the game's final tie and put the Bulldogs ahead to stay.Seremula, meanwhile, did a little bit of everything on the floor. Not only did he chase down loose balls and play solid defense on the Roughies' top scorer John Case, but he added key rebounds and tallied eight second-half points after being held scoreless in the opening two frames."Joey plays football and baseball, but is probably the guy with the most basketball IQ on our team," said Oertner. "Everybody else plays all year, but when Joey comes he's level-headed, he usually finds the right guy to pass it to or he's in the right spot. There's something to be said about that."Hahn made a couple of nice baskets down the stretch going to the basket.
