State police at Frackville are investigating the theft of a utility trailer in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said James Henry McCabe, of Lewis Street, Brockton, Schuylkill Township, reported his 1998 International utility trailer, black in color, was stolen about 1:30 a.m. on March 18.

On the trailer at the time was a 2009 Toro Zero Turn lawn tractor, red in color.

Troopers said it is believed the criminals fled the scene toward Valley Street, then toward the village of MaryD.

A Lehigh County teen is facing a charge of theft following an incident that occurred at a Carbon County ski resort.

State police at Lehighton said Christopher Tyler Dieter, 19, of Whitehall, has been charged with theft for an incident that occurred on Feb. 13 at the Blue Mountain Ski Resort in Lower Towamensing Township.

Troopers allege that Dieter took a snowboard bag from atop a locker at the ski lodge. The listed victim is John Ruckel, of Spring City, Chester County.

A Monroe County woman is facing a charge of false reports to law enforcement authorities.

State police at Fern Ridge said Kelly Marie House, 23, of Effort, reported on March 12, that between 7:14 and 10:30 p.m. her vehicle was struck in the parking lot of the Citgo station along SR115, in Chestnuthill Township, and also claimed that terroristic threats were made against her father and brother.

Troopers said an investigation determined these claims were unsubstantiated and the charge is pending.

Guns were reported stolen in a Monroe County burglary. The break-in and a theft incidents were investigated by state police at Lehighton.

Troopers said the residence of Joseph Patrick Mchsane, of 4589 Sherwood Drive, Robinhood Lakes, Kunkletown, Polk Township, was discovered entered. Entry occurred sometime between Monday, March 26, at 11 a.m. and Wednesday at 10 a.m.

A New Ringgold man is facing a drug charge.

State police at Frackville said troopers were called to the area of East Railroad Street in New Ringgold, on Wednesday evening, March 28, for a report of a man removing items from a dumpster owned by the Reading Railroad in the area of the railroad tracks.

At about 7:30 p.m. troopers located a man fitting the description of the suspect at 34 Hughes St.

State police at Fogelsville reported investigating a two-vehicle crash about 12:19 p.m. along SR863 at the intersection with Shochary Road, in Lynn Township, Lehigh County, on March 17.

Troopers said Nichole A. Hoffner, 24, of Slatington, was stopped for a stop sign on Shochary Road and attempted to cross 863 and pulled into the path of Flavio P. Corrocher, 64, of Quakertown, who was northbound on 663.

The front end of Corrocher's 2008 BMW struck the front left wheel of Hoffner's 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier.

A traffic stop in Monroe County has led to a driving under the influence (DUI) charge pending against the driver.

State police at Lehighton said Libardo Roa, 33, of Albrightsville, was stopped about 2:44 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, along SR209 at SR534 in Polk Township, for a motor vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influence, troopers said.

A Monroe County man is facing multiple charges, including attempted rape, following an incident reported on Sunday, March 25, about 6:52 a.m.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said officers responded to a residence in the Emerald Lake Estates, in Tobyhanna Township, for a report of an assault.

A gun was taken in a Schuylkill County burglary.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said a home along Second Street in the village of Joliett, Porter Township, was entered sometime between Dec. 7, 2011, and March 18. Removed was a Jennings .25-caliber nickel-plated pistol and two additional clips.

The listed victims are Rhonda Ibrahem, 54, and Ronald Kramer, 43, both of Joliett.

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a two vehicle crash about 11:20 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27, along SR61 at Beacon St., in Palo Alto, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Victoria Zanoline, 19, of Fern Glen, was driving a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am eastbound on Bacon St. and stopped for a stop sign at SR61.

Troopers said Zanoline then attempted to turn left to go south on 61 and pulled directly into the path of a northbound 2000 Saturn SL operated by Lauranne Wingard, 48, of Pottsville.
