Schuylkill State Police

State police reported the following incidents:

• A Lebanon man is facing drug and other charges following an incident that occurred on Aug. 21 in Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Walter Ragsdale, 26, was causing numerous disturbances at the Friedensberg Country Store, in Wayne Township. He was found to have in his possession drug paraphernalia as well as a small amount of marijuana.

He was charged with drug possession and disorderly conduct.

• State police at Schuylkill Haven investigated a truck crash that occurred on Sunday in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Tomas Vasquez Jr., 23, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, was operating a 2010 Peterbilt truck tractor with trailer westbound on Wilber Street in Cressona borough about 11:50 a.m. when he veered to the right and struck the guide rail. When the tractor struck the guide rail, the tire rod broke, making the vehicle disabled. The tractor was towed from the scene with no injuries reported.

Troopers cited Vasquez for the crash.

• State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a criminal mischief incident in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said someone shattered the windows on a Chevrolet S10 pickup while parked along Second Mountain Road and New Philadelphia Road in West Brunswick Township. The incident occurred sometime between 4 and 6 a.m. on Saturday.

Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-754-4600.

• State police at Frackville are investigating a criminal mischief incident that happened between 4:30 p.m. Sept. 25 and 12:30 p.m. Sept. 26 on the 200 block of Growler Street in Gilberton.

Police said someone used a blunt object to damage the front of a trailer owned by a resident.
