Paul Dodson, chairman of the Tamaqua Hunger Walk Campaign, which was held on May 21, presented checks and canned goods to three Tamaqua food pantries. This year’s event resulted in $5,350 in contributions and 112 boxes of food. Accepting on behalf of the pantries were: Rick Clemson, Primitive Methodist; Major Sharon Whispell, Salvation Army; and Tina and Rev. Darryl Kensinger, Trinity UCC.
