Coaldale Police have filed charges against Justin Thomas Hill, 35, of 216 W. Ridge St., Coaldale, in connection with a vehicle stop on March 26.

An officer on patrol at 3:29 a.m. saw a silver Buick Century weaving across both lanes of travel on Route 209. The officer initiated a traffic stop and identified Hill as the driver.Hill had a strong odor of alcohol coming from him, saying he had been at a friend's house and had a few drinks.He was given, and failed, field sobriety tests and was transported to St. Luke's Miners Campus for blood tests. Test results show he had a 0.124 percent blood alcohol level, over the legal limit of 0.08. There were also levels of amphetamine, marijuana and cocaine in his system.Hill was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of a controlled substance and driving on the wrong side of the road.
