An Alabama man is facing charges of driving under the influence and a weapons count following an incident that occurred at 2:55 a.m. Sunday.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said officers observed a pickup parked along Route 940 in Pocono Summit. As officers approached the vehicle, which was running, a man was observed passed out in the driver's seat.The man was identified as Ryan David Lambert, 24, of 544 Arthur Hall Road, Attnore, Alabama. Lambert displayed signs of intoxication and was given field sobriety tests. Police said during the course of the investigation a loaded 9 mm Glock 17 handgun was recovered. Lambert was not licensed to have the gun.He was arrested and taken to the county DUI center for a blood test. He was later lodged in the county prison in Snydersville on charges of DUI and carrying a firearm without a license, a felony three.
