Bombers, Bulldogs earn softball wins

Palmerton and Northern Lehigh both picked up softball wins in during games played on Wednesday.

SOFTBALLPalmerton-NorthwesternPalmerton managed to pull out a Colonial League softball game over Northwestern, 6-2.Lindsey Pekurney picked up the mound win, striking out three and scattering nine hits on the day to lead the Bombers' defense. Meanwhile, Jordan Boyer and Alyssa Acker both notched RBI-doubles and scored a run for the winners' offense.
