Carbon County Little League champions

The Carbon County Little League, comprised of teams from Towamensing, Weatherly, and Anthracite, recently held its championship games at Weatherly Little League Field. In the minors division (age 8-10), Anthracite St. Gabes defeated Anthracite Coalkickin, 7-0. Brad Hood was the winning pitcher for St. Gabes. In the majors division (age 10-12), the Towamensing Phillies defeated the Towamensing Thunder, 11-1. Luke Eitner was the winning pitcher for the Phillies and Eric Keck hit a three-run homer.
