A Schuylkill County teen is facing a charge of driving under the influence.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said a 17-year-old male from Orwigsburg was stopped about 10:25 p.m. on Tuesday in the area of 8 Hemlock Drive in North Manheim Township, for a vehicle code violation.He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was then transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson Street, Pottsville, for a blood test.Further investigation revealed that the teen had damaged property at the above-stated address by throwing paint at a house window and air conditioning unit.He will also be charged in connection with that incident, troopers added.
