Work has begun on constructing the new bays for the American Hose Company in Lansford. Shea Industries Inc. of Clarks Summit, Lackawanna County, was awarded the bid for the project at a cost of $23,723. The bid was actually awarded April 10, 2013, but delays occurred by historic preservationists, zoning setback issues and winter weather.
