McAdoo Police are searching for the operator of a vehicle that was reportedly stolen from a McAdoo resident.

Officers came in contact with the vehicle, before it was reported stolen, on Monday. When officers attempted to pull the driver over for a code violation, he refused to stop, instead leading officers on a short pursuit. After driving the wrong way down a one-way street, the vehicle was driven over a shallow embankment and ended up crashing into a shed. The driver fled the scene in an unknown direction.The suspect is described as being a white male with a husky build and was wearing a baseball cap.Anyone with information may contact McAdoo Police at 570-929-2590.
