Diane Pham weds Scott Crown

Diane N. Pham, daughter of Tham and Hanh Pham of Geneva, Ill., and Scott B. Crown, son of Barry and Wanda Crown of Stroudsburg, exchanged vows July 5, 2013 at the Portland Head Light, Fort Williams Park, in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Leslie Mills of St. Louis Park, Minn. officiated the double ring ceremony.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Kate Zimmermann of New York, N.Y. as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristin Stack-Windsor of Wisconsin and Megan Willian of Seattle.Matthew Schnell, Lehighton, cousin of the bridegroom, was best man.Groomsmen were Dan DiMartino, North Haledon, N.J.; and Pat McNelley, New Orleans, La. Ushers were Richard Weiss, Easton, and Thomas Pham, Geneva, brother of the bride.A reception at the Saltwater Grille in South Portland, Maine, followed the ceremony.The couple is planning a honeymoon trip to Southeast Asia in 2014.The bride is a graduate of Beloit College, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in chemistry.She graduated from the University of Delaware, with a master of science degree in chemistry and biochemistry.The bridegroom is a graduate of Lafayette College where he earned a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Delaware.He is currently employed as a metabolic engineering scientist at Gevo, Inc. in Englewood, Colo.The newlyweds currently reside in Parker, Colo.
