A vehicle stop in Schuylkill County has led to the driver facing drug counts.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Austin J. Schwartz, 22, of Hegins, was stopped about 7:57 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, along SR209 near the Interstate 81 exit ramp for failure to stop for a posted stop sign.At the stop troopers detected the strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. A further investigation revealed two small bags of marijuana and a pipe were found and seized.Troopers said charges will be filed.
