The Tamaqua Business and Professional Women's Club is celebrating National Women's History Month, giving special recognition to women in the arts at the March 5 meeting, which will be held at 6:30 p.m. at La Dolce Casa, West Broad Street, Tamaqua.

Guest speaker Corinne Lalin, MFA, will explore the history of women artists through the use of images produced by women to the depiction of women in art form. Lalin is an adjunct faculty member at Lehigh Carbon Community College with extensive knowledge of art and the place that women have etched for themselves.

Women's History Month has been a presidential proclamation since 1995.

All women are welcome to attend.
